MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN
Job Description:
The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care
under the supervision of a registered nurse. Primary
responsibilities include the provision of a safe and
therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and activities of
daily living for children and adolescents.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree
in Psychology or related field strongly preferred. Minimum
one year of experience working with a psychiatric patient
population required, preferably with children and/or
adolescents.
SOCIAL WORKER
Job Description:
The Social Worker/Therapist provides clinical social work
services for children and adolescents in a residential
behavioral health setting. Responsibilities include
psychosocial assessments, and individual, group and family
therapy in a multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
Job Requirements:
OK Clinical Social Work License (LCSW) or Licensed
Professional Counselor (LCP) required. Master’s degree in
Social Work or Clinical/Counseling Psychology preferred.
Must have prior experience working with a psychiatric mental
health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
THERAPIST
Job Description:
The Licensed Clinical Therapist provides clinical couseling
services for children and adolescents in a residential
behavioral health setting. Responsibilities include
psychosocial assessments, and individual, group and family
therapy in a multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
Job Requirements:
OK Licensed Professional Counselor (LCP) or Clinical Social
Work License (LCSW) required. Master’s degree in
Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Work preferred.
Must have prior experience working with a psychiatric mental
health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
RN
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for
children and adolescents in a residential behavioral health
setting. Prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care
in a multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
Job Requirements:
Current OK RN license required. BSN preferred. Minimum of
one year psychiatric experience in mental health nursing
required, preferably with children and/or adolescents.
RECREATIONAL THERAPIST
Job Description:
The Recreational Therapist is responsible for assessing
patients’ leisure and recreational activities, providing age
and developmentally appropriate therapy groups and
establishing behavioral treatment goals.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy and a minimum of two
years experience in recreation therapy field required,
preferably with children and/or adolescents. Must be CTRS
certified.
LPN
Job Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing
care for children and adolescents in a residential
behavioral health setting. Prescribes, coordinates and
delegates nursing care in a multidisciplinary treatment team
plan of care.
Job Requirements:
Current OK LPN license required. Minimum of one year
psychiatric experience in mental health nursing required,
preferably with children and/or adolescents.
